Advanced Open Water Diver

To accomplish an Advanced Open Water Diver rating with SSI, you need to have 24 logged dives and complete 4 specialties.  We have made it a little easier to achieve your advanced ratings by having a dive-a-long every month to help you gain some logged dives, and every month there is a discounted Specialty of the month. The great way about this option is you can tailor your advanced open water specialties to the type of diving you think you are going to do. A few examples:

Local Diving: Drysuit Navigation Night & Limited Visibility Nitrox

Caribbean Guided Diver: Nitrox Night & Limited Visibility Deep Diving Underwater Photography

Dive Anywhere Anytime: Navigation Equipment Stress Rescue Nitrox

Keep in mind Stress Rescue is one of the favorites, and really helps a divers comfort level. Once you have reached your Advanced Open Water level, you are very close to the Master Diver level, which is 60 logged dives, 4 specialties, and Stress & Rescue.
