Sand Hollow Review – Thanks Matt!

August 8th 2010,

21 divers made it down to St. George to dive Sand Hollow Reservoir. All 21 agreed it was well worth the 4 hour drive (8 hours for Bill) The reservoir is made for diving: The red sand at the beach makes a beautiful and easy entry, an underwater obstacle buoyancy course, a VW bus, and a sunken plane. Visibility was 15 – 30 feet. Maximum depth for the group was 50 feet. Temperature average was 75 with a thermo cline at 35 feet a 3mm full suit is the perfect thickness. Everyone in the group dove 2 very long dives. The only thing better than the diving was the socializing with great friends. Thank you everyone for making this Dive-a-long so much fun.
