Flaming Gorge made for a Fabulous June dive-a-long. Most of the group headed up Friday night to camp at Cedar Springs campground which was a very convenient site and very nice area.
George A. (Divecon) had planned for 2 dives on Saturday, off the dock at the Visitors Center. What a great dive area. There are shallow areas for those just getting started and also a wall for those divers that would prefer a little deeper depths. The water was a little chilly after the thermocline at 33 feet, which was perfect for those doing their drysuit open waters with Brian S. (Instructor). The divers loved the great visibility. A few of the divers participated in the Spearfishing experience with Jake, and discovered they really enjoyed it, and a few of them even caught lunch and dinner.
There was some request for this to become an annual event, what do you think?
